CHRISTIAN COUNCIL OF GHANA
Mr. Joseph Nii Budu Tetteh became the Honorary Treasurer of the Christian Council of Ghana in March 2009. Among his non professional activities, he is a member of the Budget & Fund Raising Committee of the Christian Council of Ghana (2008); Director of Human Resources & Statistics of the Osu District of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (2006 to date); Chairman of the Board of Management of Osu Preparatory Kindergarten, Primary & Junior High School (2006 to date); Member of Board of Trustees of GETFund representing the Ghana Employers Association. He is also serving as Chairman of Sub Committee on Finance & Administration.
Mr. Joseph Nii Budu Tetteh has had a tremendous working experience with the bank in the following capacities: Credit Risk Management (1975-1979); Branch Accountant/Manager (1979-1980); Senior Inspector (1980 -1985); Chief Accountant (1985-1989); Senior Manager (1989-1993); Head of Consumer Banking and subsequently Executive Director (1993-1998); Executive Director of the Standard Chartered Bank – Botswana (1998-2001); Executive Director of the Standard Chartered Bank – Zambia (2001-2003). He took an early retirement in April 2003 with a view of setting up a Banking Consultancy in Ghana. He later became the Retail Banking Consultant of Merchant Bank Ghana Ltd (May 2003-April 2004); Deputy Managing Director of UniBank Ghana Ltd (April 2004-Dec 2004); Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of UniBank Ghana Ltd (Jan 2005 – Dec 2008) and now the Group Chief Executive Officer of Express Financial Group of Companies Ltd (Jan 2009 to date).
Mr. Joseph Nii Budu Tetteh has other professional activities which include; Council Member & Treasurer of Ghana Association of Bankers (3Managing Directors of Banks constitute the Council) (2007 to date); Council Member of Chartered Institute of Bankers (2007 – 2008); Council Member of Chartered Institute of Banking, Ghana (1996 – 1998); attended International Banking Summer School in Deauville – France (1996); and the Chief Examiner of Chartered Institute of Bankers – Ghana in Practice of Banking – Lending final paper (1995 – 1986)

Mr. Joseph Nii Budu Tetteh is currently an ACIB/FCIM holder of Fellow Chartered Institute of Bankers of both Ghana and United Kingdom. He is also happily married.
