AACC Executives Call on President Akufo-Addo
Executives of the All African Conference of Churches have paid a courtesy on H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana at the seat of government, Jubilee House, Accra.
The Executives were at the presidency to officially invite the President to the All Africa Youth Congress scheduled to take place at the Pentecost International Convention Centre in the Central Region of Ghana from October 31 to November 5, 2022.
The All Africa Youth Congress is an initiative of the All Africa Conference of Churches in collaboration with the Christian Council of Ghana.
At the meeting were Rev. Dr. Cyril G.K Fayose, General Secretary, Christian Council of Ghana, Rev. Dr. Fidon Mwombeki, General Secretary, All Africa Conference of Churches, Most Rev. Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo, Presiding Bishop, The Methodist Church Ghana amongst others.

The Council believes that the right of citizens, especially women, children and the disabled should be protected by all. In view of that, it works to ensure that there is respect for fundamental human right which includes the right to live, the right to education, the right to free speech and the right to movement with the view of ensuring peace. Council’s work in the area of HIV/AIDS, advocacy for Food Security and Worse forms of Child trafficking reflect the right based approach to its activities.
The Council connects with other Christian bodies such as the Ghana Pentecostal Council (GPC), National Association of Charismatic and Christian Churches (NACCC) and the Council of Independent Churches (CIC) to foster peace and advance social issues and Christianity.
